Summary

Como Nossos Pais (“Like Our Parents”) is an iconic Brazilian song centering on themes of repression and resistance, hope and despair, and ever-present cross-generational conflicts.

This p5js project uses interactive graphics to explore the layers of meaning behind its haunting lyrics, in both the original Portuguese and translated into English for wider accessibility.
